Iowa 92 reduced to one lane from Indianola to Knoxville due to flooding

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) has reduced traffic on Iowa 92 to one lane from the east edge of Indianola at the junction of Iowa 92 and Iowa 5 west of Knoxville because of flooding that occurred late last night. The road will not be fully open until work is completed to repair shoulders damaged by the flood waters. Flaggers are in place to control traffic. Expect delays in this area.

The Iowa DOT will continue to monitor road conditions throughout the day and will issue news releases as warranted.
