Iowa 175 blocked in Grundy and Black Hawk counties AMES, Iowa –The Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) is warning travelers that Iowa 175 in Grundy and Black Hawk counties is blocked by blowing and drifting snow from Reinbeck to U.S. 63. The Iowa DOT expects high winds to keep the road blocked until at least tonight and possibly into Tuesday. Iowa DOT maintenance crews continue to work in this area and others around the state that were hit last night with another winter storm. Further news releases will be issued as conditions warrant.
