Iowa 37 work near Soldier to begin Wednesday, April 2
SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Iowa Department of Transportation's Sioux City construction office has approved work to begin Wednesday, April 2 on Iowa 37 at two locations southeast of Soldier. The two sections of the project, located two miles southeast of Solider and 5.9 miles southeast of Soldiers involve placing rip rap to protect pipes from possible water damage. Traffic will be maintained through the project. Nelson and Rock of Onawa is the contractor on the $36,000 project. Completion is scheduled for the middle of April. Motorists are urged to drive with caution and to obey posted signs in the construction area. #
