Iowa Governor and Transportation Commission to meet informally AMES, Iowa – Iowa Governor Chet Culver and members of the Iowa Transportation Commission will meet informally on Monday, April 7, at 11a.m. in the Governor's Office at the State Capitol in Des Moines. The brief visit with Governor Culver serves as one of the Transportation Commission's stops on their tour of central Iowa . An informal discussion of the commission's highway programming investment strategies and accomplishments through various transportation programs will be discussed.
