Construction of new culvert on Iowa 10 over Willow Creek to begin April 21 SIOUX CITY, Iowa – The Iowa Department of Transportation's Sioux City construction office has approved a project scheduled to begin Monday, April 21, to replace the triple box culvert for the bridge on Iowa 10 over Willow Creek. The project area is located 3.7 miles east of Iowa 60 in Sioux County. The existing bridge over Willow Creek will be demolished and a new culvert will be built. Iowa 10 traffic will be routed through an on-site detour. Graves Construction of Spencer is the contractor on the $695,000 culvert replacement project. The culvert is scheduled to be completed by the end of October. Motorists are urged to drive with caution and to obey posted signs in the construction area and on the detour.
